Shauna MacCallum is a Registered Audiologist and owner of Ocean Audiology Inc. She has been employed in the field of Audiology since 2007 and has been a practicing Audiologist since 2013, when she graduated with a Master of Clinical Science degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario.

Born and raised in Yarmouth County, Shauna has grown up with a love of the water and of people – especially helping them connect and communicate better with others and the world around them. 

With deep family roots spanning the entirety of the Tri-Counties, she is proud to serve the region in both her Barrington, NS clinic and through home visits/mobile servicing appointments. Shauna enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler and their two young sons, and - you guessed it - living near the ocean.

Shauna is a passionate Audiologist who strives to help her clients hear to the best of their ability. She seeks to understand their hearing and communication concerns and to offer appropriate solutions and recommendations that are customized to the individual. She appreciates the opportunity to help improve people’s quality of life and well-being through better hearing.

We are pleased to announce that Rhonda Boudreau has joined Ocean Audiology Inc. as our part-time Administrative Assistant. She provides our clients with exceptional customer service. As a proud bilingual Acadian born and raised in Amirault's Hill, she brings over 25 years of administrative experience to her role. Her genuine love of people and customer service is evident, as Rhonda strives to go above and beyond. It brings her deep satisfaction to meet new people and ensure they leave feeling well taken care of and appreciated.

Rhonda is also a co-owner of a local business that supports clients on their journey to wellness, in addition to her role at Ocean Audiology Inc. She also serves as the Program Director for "We've Got Your Backpacks," a program that provides weekly deliveries of nutritious food to recipients in her community. Rhonda is most proud of her role as a wife and mother to two young men; she deeply values quality time with her family.

Chana Ross is the Office Coordinator at Ocean Audiology Inc., welcoming clients with warmth and professionalism through phone, text, or in-person visits. A native of Shelburne County, she brings over fifteen years of administrative expertise to her role, along with a deep personal understanding of the importance of quality hearing care. Known for her versatility and commitment to excellence, Chana ensures every task is performed to the highest standard, making her an invaluable asset to the team.

 

Beyond her professional life, Chana enjoys a rich personal life filled with diverse hobbies, quality family time, and active community involvement. Her wide range of interests and dedication to her community underscore her dynamic personality and commitment to making a positive impact. This blend of professional dedication and personal engagement makes Chana a key member of both her workplace and her local community.
